So Long Rita, We Hardly Knew Ye
…..actually, we did, in fact we knew her all too well.
Rita Cosby’s MSNBC show ‘Live and Direct’ is history. Big boy Abrams, now perched behind the big curtain, has canned the show. No big surprise really, her ratings were terrible and everything MSNBC touches goes down the toilet anyway. The constant backstabbing from fellow staffers like K-Overbite didn’t help her case.
FOX News showcased her fairly well I thought but with the plethora of talent there and her (overly) ambitious desires for her own show caused her to take the bait and jump ship …. and into the fire. Well Rita, you wanted your own show and you got it, and now it’s histoire!
She is supposed to stay around and do ’specials’ but I don’t think there’s a chance that will last long. Maybe she can do a special with Star Jones on how how much it sucks to be them.
